About Shifting Gears Unlimited

Beverly Robinson-Smith is the lead consultant and motivational speaker whose center of attention is the development of high performance youth leaders in our communities. Beverly has over 20 years’ experience focusing on the social education of our youth, who feel that there are no other opportunities for them, which affect their daily decision that can and will affect their future. With a concentration that specializes in goal setting, each youth can display their goals with words, visual tools and community involvement. Each participate will be involved in two assessments at the beginning and end of the program. Shifting Gears Unlimited program has a concentration in social education to enhance their academic future.

Beverly has been working in the financial industry for the past 17 years and found that middle school and high school students are not socially and financially equipped to survive in today’s society. Based on their current life situation, they lack knowledge and demonstrate a fear of success. This program will assist them to be aware, and will help them recognize their opportunity to use the tools provided to them.

Mrs. Robinson-Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting Communications from SUNY at Brockport in Brockport, New York and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. Beverly is married with four children who attended Buffalo Public Schools and are working on their personal and social goals.
